Bottomless portafilter with black handle 54mm
This 54mm bottomless portafilter allows you to observe the entire extraction process as the coffee leaves the basket. By removing the spouts, it provides a clear view of the flow, helping you identify issues like channeling or uneven tamping. It is a valuable diagnostic tool for anyone looking to improve their barista skills.
The head is constructed from stainless steel for heat retention and long-term durability. It is paired with a sleek black handle that offers a comfortable and secure grip during use. The open design also allows for more clearance under the group head, making it easier to fit taller mugs or scales.
Using a naked portafilter can result in a thicker crema since the coffee does not come into contact with additional metal surfaces before reaching the cup. It is easy to rinse and keep clean because there are no internal chambers where old coffee can hide. This accessory is compatible with various 54mm espresso machine models.
